May 12, 2024 SUNY New Paltz claims first SUNYAC title Against all odds, the Hawks brought home the first SUNYAC title in program history. A seemingly implausible feat, SUNY New Paltz not only defeated Oswego five times in a row to solidify a spot in the SUNYAC finals but were victorious against nationally ranked Cortland in the championship.
May 9, 2024 New Paltz, Otterbein gets wild wins Down ten in the opening round of the SUNYAC tournament, SUNY New Paltz got great relief pitching and an offense that would not quit to advance. Otterbein found themselves down four in the ninth and shocked Marietta to steal a win in the OAC Championship.
September 6, 2018 Freeman hired to start Eagle's program The College of Saint Elizabeth's athletic department has announced the hiring of Arlan Freeman as the first head baseball coach in school history. The Eagles will start playing in the CSAC starting in 2019-20
July 12, 2018 Seay will lead New Platz next season SUNY-New Paltz officials announced the hire of Thomas Seay as new head baseball coach. Seay joins the Hawks after three seasons with Virginia Wesleyan College as the assistant coach.
April 22, 2018 New Paltz, John Carroll each stop win streaks at 20 SUNY New Paltz came from behind to stop Cortland's win streak at 20 games and John Carroll did the same in putting an end to Wooster's 20 game win string.
February 27, 2018 NYU doubles up New Paltz, Luther gets early sweep New York University doubled up SUNY New Paltz in their 4-2 season opening win. The first games of the day actually occurred to the west as Luther took two from Carlton late Wednesday and early Thursday in Minneapolis.
